Set the service arrangement alongside delivery
The initial drop-off does not define the whole worksite rental. Review cleaning, supplies, visit access and the contact for concerns in the quote. Explain any check-in procedures or times when the entrance is occupied so the proposed visits fit how the site actually operates.
Give the last shift clear instructions
Confirm how pickup and extensions are requested and who remains responsible after the crew leaves. If work is delayed, notify the rental contact before the agreed period ends. A changed contractor timetable should not be assumed to update the equipment schedule automatically.
Record what happened when a visit could not be completed
If the agreed entrance was closed or the contact was unavailable, give the rental business the relevant details and ask how to arrange the next step. Keep the site lead informed. Do not assume a missed visit is automatically rescheduled or that the original service arrangement has been changed without confirmation.
- Access difficulty explained clearly
- Responsible site contact updated
- Next visit confirmed with the provider
